- Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and raised there as well. He's the second of four boys in the Pelletier family. His mother is a veterinarian and his father used to play small league hockey. His father is now retired. His brothers are all close with one another including himself.
- Grew up in Montreal with his family. His father wanted him to take up hockey just like he had, but he had other plans for life. He grew up watching a lot of wrestling, his idols being the Hart family. He also grew a keen interest in music. He was a fan of eighties metal groups and really didn't care too much for the grunge movement, but dealt with it accordingly.
- Picked up his first guitar when he was thirteen. He learned how to play on his own. He was heavily self taught and he's a moderate player. He doesn't play very often though. He fancies himself a singer.
- Was a great student. He graduated top of his class and was also very into athletics in school. He was on the hockey team and the wrestling team.
- Straight out of high school, he moved briefly to be trained by Stampede Wrestling, and was soon brought up to their main roster where he became an instant Canadian legend among the wrestling ranks in Canada.
- Met his now deceased wife in Stampede Wrestling. They were working a storyline together and sparks hit instantly. They dated for over a year before he proposed. Several months after they were married, their daughter Blackie was born. They also have a son who was born after Blackie. His wife sadly passed away two years after their son was born in a freak accident in the ring. He hasn't re-married, nor dated since.
- He took a break from wrestling to pursue music, which gave him a bit more time for his children, which he needed. There was less travel involved. He soon formed a band, wrote music, and put out an album on their own time, money, and production. It was an all covers album, but it was well done. They played some limited shows before they were signed to a record label. This got them their second album, all original songs. A tour of the world soon followed. Currently, the band is on hiatus due to his career in wrestling coming up once again.
- Lives in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Just wrapped up being in a short term contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. His son is staying with him and attending West Chester University.
